Frequently Asked Questions

What does cold pressed mean?

Cold pressed juices are made by gently pressing fruits and veggies together to extract juice. This process creates little to no heat and slowly extracts juice so oxidation doesn’t occur and all the nutrients, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals remain in the juice. Most home juicers are centrifugal juicers, which work by using a fast spinning blade to chop up the produce - this generates a lot of heat and ultimately kills off important nutrients and enzymes. The fast spinning also allows air to enter in and oxidizes the juice, causing even more nutrients to be lost. If you want to ensure getting the most out of your juice - cold pressed in the way to go. Each juice contains 3 to 5 pounds of produce in each bottle!

Why should I drink a cold pressed juice?

Drinking cold pressed juices is an easy way to get a ton of nutrients and improve your overall health. We are constantly exposed to pollutants environmentally as well as in the food we consume - drinking raw juices aids in detoxing the body while giving all the vital organs the proper rest they so need and deserve. It takes a lot of energy for our bodies to digest food, so with juicing, the nutrients are readily absorbed without using much energy. This leftover energy now can be used to nourish and regenerate cells, making you healthier and feeling more energetic.

What about the fiber I’m missing out on?

Great question! There are two different kinds of fiber - soluble and insoluble. Insoluble means it won’t dissolve in water. Soluble fiber dissolves into water and turns into a gel. Juicing removes the insoluble fiber (pulp) but the soluble fiber remains. When you drink juice, you’re getting the soluble fiber that’s important for clearing the gut and helping the gastrointestinal tract to function optimally. Both types of fiber are important, but decreasing your insoluble fiber can allow your body to absorb nutrients more efficiently.

When is it best to drink my juice?

Drinking your juice on an empty stomach is the most beneficial because your stomach is ready to absorb all the nutrients.

How long are the juices good for?

Our juices are best consumed within 4 days. Make sure to keep them refrigerated. If you still have your juices past the 4 day mark, they can still be enjoyed up to 6 days, they may just not be as tasty and nutrient dense.

Where do you get your produce?

We source our produce as much as possible from local farmers. We source organic whenever possible with high quality and sustainable products always top of mind.

What is your bottle return policy?

Sustainability is important to us, so we do recycle all glass bottles. We ask that you keep the lids. If you can give your bottles a nice little rinse before you return then even better. We sterilize them and refill them with new juice.
